I have been going to West Beach Pilates for the last 3 years, ever since my RMT recommend it for my back and shoulders.  Even after years of yoga, swimming and cycling, I still had poor core support. Pilates has increased my spine flexibility and given me better posture.  Now it's a family affair.  My husband and I attend together, and sometimes our adult kids join in. Rendall even goes by himself to the Saturday morning class.

I was recently diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis and advised to stop my ‘boot camp’ type workouts and get into Pilates.  West Beach Pilates classes are fun, informative and an excellent workout.  Our instructor Colleen ensures correct form and level of difficulty for each person’s abilities.  I have seen a marked improvement in my flexibility and specifically improved range of motion for my arthritic neck.

I am a breast cancer survivor and I wanted to get better range of motion in my arms so I decided to join Pilates.  Not only has it been helping with my arms but I am feeling stronger all over.  The instructors and students are all great and lots of fun.  I strongly encourage others to join Pilates.
 

I am a dental hygienist and have been doing Pilates for twelve years continually.  I found it to be the best exercise for me to re-align and strengthen my body so that I can continue working.  I find Westbeach Pilates fulfills my training needs.  At this point, I require a skilled and trained Pilates instructor to ensure I'm keeping my form so I do not injure myself.  Not only does Colleen do this, but she also introduces new exercises and modifications to advance me further.
